With God forever
Morning
When you go out to battle against your enemies and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, who brought you up from the land of Egypt, is with you. When you are approaching the battle, the priest shall come near and speak to the people. He shall say to them, “Hear, O Israel, you are approaching the battle against your enemies today. Do not be fainthearted. Do not be afraid, or panic, or tremble before them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.” Deut. 20:1-4 ◊ But get up and stand on your feet; for this purpose I have appeared to you, to appoint you a minister and a witness not only to the things which you have seen, but also to the things in which I will appear to you; rescuing you from the Jewish people and from the Gentiles, to whom I am sending you. Acts 26:16-17 ◊ The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but victory belongs to the Lord. Prov. 21:31 ◊ but in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. Rom. 8:37
Evening
“They will fight against you, but they will not overcome you, for I am with you to deliver you,” declares the Lord. Jer. 1:19 ◊ ”Then I will make you to this people a fortified wall of bronze; and though they fight against you, they will not prevail over you; for I am with you to save you and deliver you,” declares the Lord. “So I will deliver you from the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you from the grasp of the violent.” Jer. 15:20-21 ◊ Through You we will push back our adversaries; through Your name we will trample down those who rise up against us. For I will not trust in my bow, nor will my sword save me. But You have saved us from our adversaries, and You have put to shame those who hate us. Ps. 44:5-7 ◊ And he said, “Listen, all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: thus says the Lord to you, ‘Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God’s.’”2 Chr. 20:15 ◊ Behold, I am going to send an angel before you to guard you along the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. Be on your guard before him and obey his voice; do not be rebellious toward him, for he will not pardon your transgression, since My name is in him. But if you truly obey his voice and do all that I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries. Ex. 23:20-22 ◊ Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Cor. 15:57
