I will trust in him

Morning

Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He will do it. Ps. 37:5 ◊ Blessed be the Lord, because He has heard the voice of my supplication. The Lord is my strength and my shield, my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart exults, and with my song I shall thank Him. The Lord is their strength, and He is a saving defense to His anointed. Ps. 28:6-8 ◊ For I have heard the slander of many, terror is on every side. While they took counsel together against me, they schemed to take away my life. But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord, I say, “You are my God.” My times are in Your hand, deliver me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me. Ps. 31:13-15 ◊ He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust!” For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you may seek refuge. His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark. Ps. 91:1-4 ◊ Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Prov. 3:5-7

Evening

Now it came about in the third year of Hoshea, the son of Elah king of Israel, that Hezekiah the son of Ahaz king of Judah became king.… He trusted in the Lord, the God of Israel, so that after him there was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor among those who were before him. For he clung to the Lord, he did not depart from following Him, but kept His commandments, which the Lord had commanded Moses. 2 Ki. 18:1,5-6 ◊ The Lord also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. Ps. 9:9-10 ◊ He will not fear evil tidings, his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. His heart is upheld, he will not fear, until he looks with satisfaction on his adversaries. Ps. 112:7-8 ◊ When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You. In God, whose word I praise, in God I have put my trust, I shall not be afraid. What can mere man do to me? Ps. 56:3-4
